About

This site is dedicated to highlighting examples of Labor Government waste, inefficiency and mismanagement to the public and to holding the Gillard Labor Government accountable for how it spends taxpayers money.

Taxpayers have a right to expect that Governments will spend their money in an efficient and effective manner, achieving outcomes for the community and avoiding waste and inefficiency.

With this in mind, the Scrutiny of Government Waste Committee has been established to monitor the performance of the Gillard Government on these issues and to highlight areas for improvement to the parliament and the public, including through this website.

The material on this site is taken from press releases, the parliamentary process and general research.

But we also want to hear from you, wherever you may be in Australia. If you know of Government waste, inefficiency or mismanagement please provide your feedback to LaborWaste.com using the Tip-Off Page.

Once again, welcome to LaborWaste.com.au and on behalf of the Scrutiny of Government Waste Committee, I trust you find it useful – and we look forward to hearing your feedback and examples of Labor waste, inefficiency and mismanagement.
